  • We accept a variety of payment sources for non-medical home care, including:

    •  ACT 150 Waiver: For individuals 18–59 with physical disabilities needing daily living assistance and ineligible for Medicaid.

    • OBRA Waiver: For individuals with severe disabilities needing ICF care but preferring home living.

    • Community HealthChoices (CHC) Waiver: For individuals with long-term care needs eligible for Medicaid and/or Medicare.

    • AVCC:  Available for eligible veterans to support in-home care.

      These options help cover caregiving services such as personal care, companionship, and daily living support. Contact us to see which you may qualify for.

  • Yes! We value your input in choosing a caregiver to make sure they fit your needs. If your first choice isn't a good match, we will work with you to find someone better suited to your needs.

  • Peoples Care recognizes that enrolling in home and community-based services can be complex. We suggest contacting the Pennsylvania Independent Enrollment Broker (PAIEB) for assistance. The PAIEB helps residents enroll in various services and supports.

  • Yes! All potential caregivers must go through thorough screenings and training. They can only become your caregiver after finishing these requirements successfully.

  • Yes, we do offer a referral bonus. The amount is $100, and the referred caregiver must complete 30 days of work. After fulfilling the 30-day requirement, the current team member will receive a bonus of $100.

  • All our caregivers must pass a state criminal background check, have a current two-step TB test, complete a physical examination, and fulfill all state-required training to be eligible for work.

  • We provide FREE CPR training for our newly hired employees. Additionally, employees who are eligible can receive a job coaching certificate after completing 90 days of employment.
